All the studies and research regarding corona vaccine are telling that the level of antibodies starts decreasing after 6 months in people who have got both doses of corona vaccine. This increases the risk of getting infected despite taking the vaccine, and a booster dose is necessary to reduce this risk.

Who can get booster dose

If you have completed 6 months or 26 weeks after getting the second dose of corona vaccine, then you can now get a booster dose. Earlier this period was 9 months, which has recently been reduced to 6 months by the government. For this, you can check whether you are eligible for a booster dose or not by visiting the Covin app.

Get free booster dose for 75 days from today

At present, the free booster dose announced by the government is for a limited time. The special campaign for free booster doses for 75 days is starting from 15th July and after 75 days it may not be free. Therefore, if you are eligible for a booster dose, then you can get it done from today to the next 75 days, then do not delay in getting it done.

Let us tell you that at private vaccination centers, you will have to pay for the supporter cure  as before, but at government centers, the supporter cure will be free of cost. The cost of booster dose of Covishield and Covaccine at private centers is Rs 225 and or with this service charge will have to be paid independently.

The first and alternate cure of the vaccine you have taken, the supporter  cure will also be from the same company. Suppose you had taken the first and alternate cure of Covaccine, also the supporter dose will also have to be taken of Covaccine.

Enter mobile number and stopcock on GET OTP option.
